Golden Demon Entry #1

Hey guys,
i'm going to be painting a series of miniatures [not any in particular], but as I paint all the models I recieved for my birthday, I'll make posts of the best looking miniatures i've painted/assembled, and make a post - 'Golden Demon Entry #(number)', and when the competition comes, ill pick the best ones and enter them! So without further adeu [is that how it's spelt? :o]

The base has some bullet casing and some rocks
It was hard to get close enough, but the focus of this is on the blood drop.

So what do you think?

The first model is a Tactical sgt. he's been painted quite well IMO, I've done freehand work on the lightning sword and the shoulder pads. Apart from this, uh...enjoy! More 'entries' on the way!

UPDATE

Sorry lads!
It's been literally weeks since my last post, and the reason is my birthday was recently, and I recieved alot of models as well as scenery [strongpoint, woohoo!]
So, right now you'd probably be saying, 'all the more reason to post Matthew!'
But the problem is, I've been quite busy recently and haven't found time to spend lots of time working on my models, but I will make an update on my next Golden Demon entry [ yes it's early, but my plan is to keep producing awesome looking minatures until GD and choose the best ones and enter them :P], I just need to finish up shoulders and backpack.
I've also made slow progression on some Space Marine bikes, and may try to update soon.

Matthew's WIP blog 2 - Plastic Vanguard Veterans part 3

Hey guys!
Believe it or not, i'm still slowly progressing on my plastic vanguard and sternguard slowly, behind my other stuff :P , so I finished another marine, and am working on other parts. Slowly. More updates on the way, I have been updating so frequently because I'm working on some things outside of 40k which will probably take another week or so, but i'll still update on anything I work on in the meantime. Enjoy!
